Provision of Cleaning Services for Lifetime Lab & Kinsale Rd Landfill Site

Kinsale Road Landfill and Civic Amenity Site is owned and operated by Cork City Council. It is located within 3 km of Cork City at the South City Link Road. The facility was operated as a landfill site up until 15th July 2009 accepting domestic and commercial Municipal Solid Waste. The facility ceased accepting waste for landfilling on the 15th July, 2009. Recycling activities carried out at the Civic Amenity Site shall continue in to the foreseeable future. Lifetime Lab is located at the old Cork City Waterworks on the Lee Road, Cork. It is owned by Cork City Council and operated by a private contractor under a contract agreement. The site houses a Visitor Centre with interactive environmental exhibits, a coffee dock, a conference room, a heritage centre with 100 year old steam equipment, a science themed playground and a school resource centre. Cork City Council is now inviting tenders from companies with the necessary expertise and experience for the provision of cleaning services at Kinsale Road Landfill Site and Lifetime Lab, Cork.
