A15/3445/MC18/14 - GIS Platform Solution
The Defence Forces (DF) has recently established a GIS Section within the organisation, with a responsibility for mapping and GIS within The Defence Forces. The Defence Forces Geographic Information strategy 2013 has identified a requirement for the provision of a GIS platform solution. The GIS solution will centrally compile, store, manipulate, and provide access to Geographic Information across the Defence Forces Communications and Information Services Network (CISN), which is a secure internal intranet network with no internet capability. This contract has been awarded to ESRI Ireland.
