GR 04-14 - 2 - Biomass - Palm Kernel Shell

Bord na Mona Energy Ltd is currently preparing Request for Tender for its requirements(c.60,000 metric tonnes - estimated quantity req'd to fulfil requirements - 1st Sep'14 – 31st Dec'15) of Palm Kernel Shell (PKS) for co- fueling with peat in Bord Na Mona’s Edenderry Power Plant. Delivery in shipments of 5- 20,000 tonnes spread over the duration of the contract. (DDP(excl VAT) 2010 Incoterms) NOTE - Contract may be awarded to one or more suppliers. This is the first stage of a 2 stage tender/competition process. Stage 1 is a Pre-Qualification process, where potential suppliers are asked to respond with information etc to a number of questions. Following evaluation of the responses, successful potential suppliers will be issued an Invitation to Tender/Request for Tender. Only at that point will comprehensive details of the requirements/specifications be advised.
