T.009/2014 - Garden Maintenance Service within the Laois/Offaly Garda Division

1. INTRODUCTION The objective for An Garda Síochána in undertaking this procurement process is to ensure the most economical and environmentally friendly Garden Maintenance Service is in place within the Laois/Offaly Garda Division in addition to improving the quality of service. It is proposed to award the contract in lots tenders can tender for one or more lots as set out beneath 2. BREAKDOWN OF LOTS Laois/Offaly Division comprises three Districts; the districts have been divided into separate Lots Tullamore, Portlaoise and Birr. The table below lists the Garda stations which require a service in the three Districts of the Laois/Offaly Garda Division. LOT 1 LOT 2 LOT 3 TULLAMORE DISTRICT PORTLAOISE DISTRICT BIRR DISTRICT CLARA ABBEYLEIX , BANAGHER DAINGEAN DURROW CLOGHAN RHODE BORRIS- IN- OSSORY KILCORMAC TULLAMORE MOUNTMELLICK EDENDERRY PORTLAOISE 2. WHAT IS PROPOSED FROM PROPOSED CONTRACT 2.1 A high quality garden maintenance service will be required from the successful Tenderer together with providing supervision for this contract. 2.2 Tenderers must detail how they propose to maintain the garden area in their proposal, taking into account, lawns, paths, shrubs, trees and any other areas. Tenderers must carry out a site visit, details of which are set out in section 2.13 of this request for tender document.
