Fingal County Council operates 2 recycling centres in its functional area; Coolmine Recycling Centre, Dublin 15 and Estuary Recycling Centre, Swords. Waste is brought by members of the public to the recycling centres and is then collected by private contractors. Fingal County Council is inviting tenders for the establishment of two multi-party framework agreements for: Lot 1: The Collection of Household Hazardous Waste from Recycling Centres for Recycling or Recovery and Lot 2: The Collection of Non Hazardous Household Waste from Recycling Centres for Recycling or Recovery.

Lot 1 - Household Hazardous Waste. A Framework Agreement was entered into with Enva Ireland Ltd, Rilta Environmental Ltd. and Veolia Environmental Services Technical Solutions Ltd. An initial 2-year contract was awarded to Enva Ireland Ltd.
Lot 2 - Non Hazardous Household Waste. A Framework Agreement was entered into with Starrus Eco Holdings Ltd. (T/A Greenstar), AES (Ireland) Ltd., Padraig Thornton Waste Disposal Ltd. and Oxigen Environmental Ltd. An initial 2-year contract was awarded to Starrus Eco Holdings Ltd. (T/A Greenstar).
