Detailed description:

The contract includes for the design, construction, commissioning, testing, operation and maintenance of the following works as part of the Gweedore Sewerage Scheme: -upgrade and expansion of the an existing wastewater treatment plant to cater for a population equivalent of 6,000; -new outfall pipeline from the wastewater treatment plant to an offshore discharge point in Gweedore Bay; -a wastewater collection network comprising approximately 19km of gravity foul sewer, 4 no. pumping stations and 3km of rising mains; -other associated works.

Design, construction, commissioning, testing, operation and maintenance of an upgrade and expansion to an existing wastewater treatment plant (WwTP) to cater for a p.e. of 6,000, a new 4 km outfall pipeline from the WwTP to an offshore discharge point in Gweedore Bay and a new wastewater collection network comprising approx. 19km of gravity foul sewers, 4 no. pumping stations and 3km of rising mains.
