Lamps 2013-2017 - Tender for Supply of High Intensity Discharge Lamps
Dublin City Council requested tenders for the supply & delivery of High Intensity Discharge Lamps to its Public Lighting Stores. It was the intention of Dublin City Council to establish a Multi-Supplier Framework Agreement with 5 lots. Lot 1 - Low Pressure Sodium (SOX) Lamps, Lot 2 - High Pressure Sodium Long Life (SON) Lamps, Lot 3 - Metal Halide (CDMT, CDMTD, HPIT, CDOTT) Lamps, Lot 4 - Cosmopolis (CPOTW) Lamps and Lot 5 - Compact Fluorescent (PLL) Lamps. On foot of this competitive process a framework agreement was established for 3 lots on 24/01/2014. Lot 2 - High Pressure Sodium Long Life (SON) Lamps. Five offers were received. Framework Members are in alphabetical order: Demense Electrical Sales and EWL Electric Ltd Trading As Edmundson Electrical Ireland. Initial 12 month contract awarded to: Edmundson Electrical Ireland. Lot 3 - Metal Halide (CDMT, CDMTD, HPIT, CDOTT) Lamps. Four offers were received. Framework Members are in alphabetical order: EWL Electric Ltd Trading As Edmundson Electrical Ireland. Low Pressure Sodium lamps with blue base cap BY22D for 55w and red base cap BY22D for 90w/135w lamps are required. For full details on scope and specification please refer to the tender document.
High Pressure Sodium Long Life lamps with base cap E.S E27 for 50w/70w and base cap G.E.S E40 for 100w/150w/250w/400w lamps are required. For full details on scope and specification please refer to the tender document.
The variety of metal halide lamps required are: Single ended compact ceramic (CDMT) with base cap G12 for 35w/70w/150watt lamps. Double ended compact ceramic (CDM-TD) with base cap RX7s for 70w/150watt lamps. Clear tubular (HPI-T) with base cap G.E.S E40 for 250w/400watt lamps. Clear tubular ceramic (CDO-TT) with base cap E.S.
