PFA - Clare County Council on behalf of Clare Local Authorities is establishing a Framework Agreement for Plumbing Works Contracts.

Clare County Council on behalf of Clare Local Authorities is seeking to establish Framework Agreements consisting of three lots to procure Plumbing Contract Works, which may arise from time to time over the lifetime of this Framework, subject to budgetary approval. Under this Framework Agreement the Council will enter into arrangements with Plumbers under agreed conditions from 1st October 2013 – 30th August 2016. Generally with a Framework Agreement some elements of the tender, for example price, precise specification, volume of work will not be fully established at the start of the Agreement. It is anticipated that each lot will consist of ten Plumbing Contractors; a plumber will be facilitated in a maximum of two lots of their choosing. There is no entitlement to a works contract following entry as a Framework Participant. Please note that this contract does not entitle a contractor to Plumbing Works within the County as there is an existing Framework for Works Contractors whereby each Contractor can procure their own specialist for these works. From this framework the Council will appoint Plumbers to do call-out plumbing works in selected areas (lots) of the County. These plumbers will be appointed on the rates they submit in Volume C – Pricing Document and conditions as set out in these documents. The Council will request tenders annually for call-out works, through the framework. Each call-out contract will be for duration of 12 months (Minimum). Items which will generally be tendered to the framework will include but are not limited to: • General Plumbing Service and installations in Domestic Dwellings. • Service and installation of Gas/Oil Fired Central Heating Systems. • Service and installation of Solid Fuel The successful tenders have been listed under the folder entitled 'Award of Contract' in the documents folder
