Fencing for Life Project - The Purchae of Agriculture Round Fence Posts

Tenders are sought for the provision of Agricultural fencing posts for a large scale river bank restoration project. Tenders are invited on a per km basis to supply and delivery 200 (5 inch x 5 foot) pressure treated round agricultural fence posts per km. Approximately 30km of fencing of river bank is to be carried out over the next year along the River Blackwater. The precise number to be determined by ongoing survey work. Delivery will be required to the sites along the Dalua River and will be in a number of lots over a 12 month period. IRD Duhallow is not in a position to store the full stock and tenders are required to deliver as required. • Fence posts must have a minimum 10 year life guarantee • The fence posts must be treated using EPA approved preservation methods (e.g., pressure treatment) suitable for fencing along water courses. Creosote is not an appropriate preservative. Please see attached RFT for full details.
