Dublin City Council intends to commission a competent and experienced contractor to refurbish the existing GAA 2022 Edition / Rugby pitch at Clontarf All Weather Sports. The surfacing must be capable of hosting GAA and rugby must comply with the requirements of FIFA standards and World rugby. The works must comprise of: - Deep cleaning of existing pitch surface and TPV/TPE infill Material. -Removal by extraction only the top TPV/TPE layer and infill material stored on site for reuse. - Removal and Disposal of existing synthetic grass and old infill sand off-site. - Old Synthetic Grass to be recycled and tenders should state how this will be done as part of the tender return. Removal and Disposal of 25% of the existing 25mm SBR Shockpad and spoil off-site - Existing infill to be evaluated by a sports testing house to GAA, FIFA, and World Rugby - Install 25% of pitch surface area with a new shockpad in situ system to required tolerances SBR with 12% Binder content. - Installation of new synthetic grass and line marking as per specifications - Line marking to match the existing pitch GAA pitch - Installation of existing TPV infill material obtained from site. - Supply and install 4 Kgs of new Green TPE or TPV to match the existing material. - New Sports silica sand to be used in new surface to FIFA and World Rugby, GAA. - Installation of root barrier to pitch perimeter.
