The RFT has ended, you cannot answer the invitation.

Louth County Council & Creative Ireland Louth invites applications from Artists, or an Artist Collective for an ‘Artist in the Community Project’ under the Louth Brigid 1500 programme. Brigid1500 is a programme of events to celebrate and commemorate St. Brigid, the woman, the life and the legacy. The Brigid1500 programme will champion all that is associated with St.Brigid including faith & spirituality, biodiversity & sustainability, arts & culture and social justice and education. The Project is designed to: • Promote the story and heritage of St Brigid through the community groups and schools. • Provide community groups and schools with an opportunity to meet and work with the artist(s) throughout the course of the 12 months and develop a series of art works around the theme of St. Brigid and the Brigid1500 celebrations. • The collection of art produced will be displayed at an exhibition from January to February 2024 as part of the Brigid1500 celebrations. • This residency will require flexible working hours, allowing time for the artist(s) own work plus time for engagement and interaction with the various groups. • Work with the groups will take place in person. • It is expected that at approx 15 pieces of art of varying size will be produced and around 10 community groups and schools will be involved in the project.
