SCC2023/002 - N59 Owenbeg (Phase3) Pavement Recycling & Resurfacing Contract 2023

The works consists of 3.8km of Road Strengthening Inlay works which involves Milling and the excavation of pavement for the removal of the Structural Asphalt Reinforcement (Mesh Track). Pavement inlay consists of • 22,000m2 of 40 mm SMA, • 22,383m2 of 60mm AC 20 dense binder course • 21,821m2 of the insitu rethread of the existing 290mm pavement layer using LEBM, Raising of verges with topsoil and incorporating stone edge detail where required; Provision of road markings and associated signage. Accommodation works. Side Roads & tie-ins. The full scope of the works is to be ascertained from the contract documents.
