LA2391C - University of Galway RFT for Design & Manufacture of an Endovascular medical device & associated delivery system

Tenders are sought for the Design and Manufacture of a Nitinol Endovascular medical device and associated basic delivery system. The device will be located in the carotid artery and has features similar to a carotid stent. Quantity x twelve (12), representing progressively different development at various stages of the project, will be required. Stages of the contract will include: • Review of previous study outcomes, Concept generation phase & design iteration • Experimental phase involving prototypes and bench testing • Manufacture, Assembly, sterilising (can be outsourced) preparation • Support for non-GLP pre-clinical testing All of the above stages must be included in the package solution price. ● Project Commencement –Feb ’23 Estimate (contract & Tender process dependent) ● Project Duration – Estimated up to 6 months of works by tenderer, followed by support for non-GLP pre-clinical testing (by others) that will last up to 3 months.
