The Health Service Executive (HSE) is seeking tenders to design, develop and implement a mentorship programme to support healthcare workers to embed and comply with the principles and provisions of the Assisted Decision-Making (Capacity) Act 2015 (the Act). The HSE wishes to appoint a team with experience of organisational psychology, mentoring or coaching, with expertise in enabling people to problem-solve complex cases in the public sector or healthcare context and in establishing effective support networks, with demonstrated knowledge of the Assisted Decision-Making (Capacity) Act 2015. The successful tenderer will be required to design, develop and implement a mentoring programme, to develop and facilitate mentor training, workshops and clinics and to collate outputs into a resource repository, tailored to the defined service strands, to develop confidence and competence of mentees of the 18-month Assisted Decision-Making mentorship programme.
