KCC 6 Housing Units Tralee - Contract Awarded: Ned O'Shea & Sons Construction Ltd - Re-development of Traveller-Specific Accommodation and associated works at Rathass, Tralee, Co. Kerry

The works will include the provision of 4 No two-bedroom demountable units (to replace existing 2 no two- bedroom units and 2 no three- bedroom units), the provision of an additional 2 no three- bedroom demountable units, the construction of 2 no service sheds and caretaker's facilities and the provision of a new vehicular entrance along with all associated siteworks at Rathass, Tralee. TENDER SUBMISSIONS Tenders must be submitted via the electronic post-box available through this e-tenders contract notice. Only tenders submitted to the electronic post-box will be accepted. The e-Tenders electronic post-box facility closes at the stated date and time precisely. Tenderers must ensure that they give themselves sufficient time to upload and submit all required documentation onto the e-Tenders post-box facility before the receipt of tender deadline. SUITABILITY ASSESSMENT CRITERIA The suitability assessment for this tender competition will be based on the QW2 Suitability Assessment Questionnaire and associated supplements and appendices included with the tender documents. The purpose of the questionnaire is to obtain the information on which to base a suitability assessment so as to establish if the tenderer meets the minimum criteria and if they should go forward to evaluation for the award of the works contract. AWARD CRITERIA The award criterion for this tender competition is the Most Economically Advantageous Tender (MEAT), the assessment of the Most Economically Advantageous Tender will be made on the basis of the award criteria included in the particulars of the Instruction to Tenderers (ITT) document. The award criterion MEAT for this competition is based on a 100% Price calculated on a comparative cost of tender basis in accordance with the Instruction to Tenderers document section 9.5 using Appendix 5 of said document.
