Provision of Commercial Cleaning Services

The specification will cover the cleaning of the National Shared Services Office (NSSO), Block 5, Belfield Office Park, Beaver Row, Clonskeagh, Dublin 4. The NSSO is the sole occupier of the building. The building is not open to the public, so the number of visitors is relatively low and these are generally Civil Servants from other Government Offices associated with the NSSO. The building consists of:- • 6 floors of offices in the building – i.e. Ground, 1st to 5th Floor. • Floor Area: 4,370M2 gross internal approx. • There is a Plant Room on the 6th floor accessible by stairs from the 5th Floor. • The Building has Plant Rooms also at both level -1 basement and level -2 basement. • NSSO has reserved parking in the shared car parks at -1 and -2 basement levels and on Ground Level. • Number of staff in building: The building has 403 desk spaces with 120 staff approx. attending the office on a daily basis with our blended working. All desks are in use and at present we do not operate a shared desk policy. The basic requirement is for 1 staff from 8:00am to 5:00pm each weekday, Monday to Friday and 1 staff member from 8:00am to 12:00pm on 3 days a week, 54.5 hours on a weekly basis. 1 staff member will act as a supervisor and liaise with the facilities staff.
