Proposed replacement of curtain wall screening; doors with fanlights at the Presentation Primary School, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Contractors are invited to tender for the replacement of the existing large timber screens (incorporating doors & fanlights) with aluminium curtain wall screening (large bespoke units); incorporating doors and electronic access controls and glazed fanlights. These works generally include the careful removal and disposal of the existing screens and the subsequent installation of the new units, including all scaffolding, builders work, making-good any damage to reveals, painting & decoration, installation of electronic access controls, etc., associated with the replacement. Please note that all works are to be carried out in strict adherence with the Department of Education and Skills technical guidance documents and general specification for primary schools, but specifically TGD 021-1a. It is paramount that the tendering Contractor is in a position to commence works on site immediately following appointment and has such resources available to meet the handover date of end of August 2022
