Rampart Walls Repair & Stabilisation Works: The works to the stone and brick perimeter Rampart Walls to the Magazine Fort (approx. 420 linear metres) and 3 no. stone Cavaliers to include: - Ground works, adjacent to Rampart Walls, and Banquette (stone steps) repairs, parapet wall structural repair & reconstruction, stone & brick repointing and new lime render & localised lime render repairs. - localised wall under-pinning, wall repairs and new asphalt roof coverings to Cavaliers. - Establishing a localised secure works area for works from the public park. • Structural Repairs to Vaulted Magazine Store Buildings (approx. floor area of 1050m2) - Roof recovering and repairs: reinstatement of granite capping stones to gables. Re-covering of Roof, including removal of existing natural slates for re-use, new battens and recovering of slate roof, new lead valleys and substrate. Repair/replacement of cast iron rainwater goods. - Wall Repairs: Localised structural repairs / stitching at corners including repointing exposed stonework in lime based mortar, and application of new lime based render. • ‘Bakery’ Vaulted Corrugated Metal Building (circa. 1900) (approx. floor area 310m2) Repair and replacement of corrugated metal sheeting to roof & wall. Repairs to steel structure. Repairs to steel windows. Reinstatement of metal rainwater drainage. • Entrance Archway Structural repair and reconstruction of partially dismantled 18th Century granite-faced entrance archway, with rubble stone infill.
