7699 - Supply of Anti-Vibration (Metal/Rubber) Components (Q/S)
This is a call to competition by IE for the establishment of a Qualification System for the procurement of “Rolling Stock Anti-Vibration Components – Qualification System” (the “Contract”). Iarnród Éireann (IÉ) have a requirement for the purchase of a wide variety of Anti-Vibration components (metal/rubber components) over the next 5-years. These items will cover many of IÉ’s fleet of vehicles and will range from simple, small rubber components to larger metal/rubber items

This is a call to competition by IE for the establishment of a Qualification System for the procurement of “Rolling Stock Anti-Vibration Components – Qualification System” (the “Contract”). Iarnród Éireann (IÉ) have a requirement for the purchase of a wide variety of Anti-Vibration components (metal/rubber components) over the next 5-years. These items will cover many of IÉ’s fleet of vehicles and will range from simple, small rubber components to larger metal/rubber items
Some examples of what may arise over the 5-year period include such things as articulation bushes, engine mountings, piled rubber springs, lateral stops, primary/secondary suspension items etc. The aim of this prequalification process is to attain highly experienced companies that are capable of designing (re-designing), manufacturing and delivering a fully compliant component that can be proven to be the same or better than what is currently being used.
