Medite 2022 - 1 - Request for Tender for a Log Truck Unloading Concrete Slab Area at MEDITE Europe DAC ‘22

MEDITE Europe DAC is proposing to construct a reinforced concrete slab where all future log unloading will take place. Currently Raw material for the manufacturing process arrives onsite in the form on pulp logs which are unloaded by wheeled log loaders. Currently this unloading process is occurring on stone hardcore area that requires frequent maintenance to prevent potholes. Potholes can cause the wheeled log loaders to ‘bounce’ causing discomfort for the driver and increasing the risk of driver injury and vehicle collision. The scope of works comprises the construction of the concrete slab in accordance with the details and specifications of the attached drawing 004-01-00-GA001. The successful tenderer shall be required to act as Project Supervisor Construction Stage (PSCS) as per the requirements of the relevant health & safety legislation. Medite Europe DAC is acting as PSDP and have prepared a Preliminary Health & Safety Plan in accordance with Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations 2013.
