DPO Services - Data Protection Officer Services

safefood is required under Article 37 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) to appoint a dedicated Data Protection Officer (DPO). The DPO is a critical role in an organisation’s structure and must carry out their tasks and duties in an independent manner. safefood has included the duties of the DPO within another role over the last number of years however as the processes and practices of the GDPR requirements mature it has become evident that safefood needs a different focus on how we provide DPO services. Procuring this role as a service will mean that safefood can access expert advice and guidance in order to address GDPR compliance demands while remaining focused on our core activities. It is anticipated that these services will be provided through a mix of offsite and onsite attendance at our Cork office.
