202477 - External Quality Review of Internal Audit

SOLAS requires an independent External Quality Assessment (EQA) of its Internal Audit function in accordance with the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) Audit Standard 1312. The External Quality Assessment will assess the extent to which the Internal Audit function’s operation conforms to the IIA standards and the Code of Practice for the Governance of State Bodies 2016 (the Code).
