TCC001293E - Service for the removal, transport and recovery of waste tyres from Shannon Vermicomposting Ltd. site at Rathcabbin, Co. Tipperary

The Service for the loading, removal, transport and recovery of waste tyres from the former Shannon Vermicomposting Ltd facility at Coolross, Rathcabbin, Co. Tipperary. The amount of tyres is estimated to consist of ca. 21,500 No. waste tyres (ca. 270 tonnes) that are predominantly car/jeep/van tyres but there is a smaller number of other tyre sizes and types including lorry tyres and a very small number of tractor/earth-mover tyres. The exact tonnage of the waste tyres cannot be determined at this stage, but the tonnage of waste tyres is estimated to be ca. 270t. The services shall include all waste authorisations required, including but not necessarily limited to waste collection permit, waste facility permit and TFS authorisations (if required). All waste will be required to be removed from the site and delivered to the waste destination facility over a two-year period up to 17th November 2023.
