Provision of comprehensive supports to the Awardees of the Social Enterprise Development Fund in a consortium with other consultants

Rethink Ireland wishes to invite tenders from suitably qualified and experienced consultants to lead the capacity building support and performance management provided to Awardees as part of Year 1 of the Social Enterprise Start-Up Fund. The Social Enterprise Start-Up Fund is a two-year fund in partnership with the Department of Rural and Community Development. It will support social enterprises at the start-up / early stage, to embed strong business principles and, in turn, deliver social impact, create jobs and inspire emerging, next generation Irish social enterprises. Modules of work: Direct supports to Awardees Required: 1 lead consultant in a consortium with other consultants Key elements of the role: Lead a consortium of consultants (a lead consultant may subcontract work to other consultants in consultation with Rethink Ireland) Allocate and oversee the delivery of supports to Awardees Ensure deliverables are met within timeframes set by Rethink Ireland Manage the quality control of the support provided and deliverables from the Awardees Ensure Rethink Ireland is informed of Awardee progress Support Fund Team with Accelerator finalisation and coordination of supports. Attendance at the initial Accelerator Workshop and liaison with Accelerator consultants. Areas of Work: Strategic Planning Financial Health Theory of Change Communications Number of Awardees: 25 Days per Awardee: approx. 3 (needs based assessment) Timeline: October 2021 - January 2022
