GWM13195 - Supply and Installation of Gas Turbines. Packages

ESB is seeking expressions of interest to obtain a place on a qualification system that will be established for Original Equipment Manufacturer(s) (“Supplier” or “Suppliers”) for the supply and installation of Gas Turbines, Generators and Auxiliaries (together the “Gas Turbine Package”). The Gas Turbine Packages will be required to be delivered and installed at project locations in Ireland and possibly the U.K., and the qualification system may include projects developed by ESB, ESB Joint Venture companies (existing or yet to be formed), ESB subsidiary companies or companies ESB Group has a minority interest in. ESB plans to develop gas turbine peaking power plants commencing in 2022, through a pipeline of planned projects. The size of individual projects is expected to range between 50MW and 120MW (electrical), although some projects could be outside of this range.
