OMcG 05/21 - Girley Bog NHA Restoration Works

Under this contract, it is intended for the Contractor to take possession of the development site of approximate area of 70 Ha in area for the purposes of carrying out bog restoration works. The Works can be summarised as follows: • Construction of peat dams within existing drains. • Installation of plastic dams within existing drains where necessary • Construction of trench bunds with finger bunds • Construction of contour bunds with finger bunds • Construction of sandwich dams where necessary • Erection of Warning Signs cautioning of danger due to deep water • Temporary welfare facilities for the Contractors staff and workers. • Everything necessary for the proper storage of materials including sheds,fencing, racks etc. •All tanks and sheds for the storage of fuel
