Development, Production and Delivery of Virtual Events – EXPO 2020 Dubai Market Sounding

Expo 2020 was postponed due to the global COVID-19 pandemic. The organisers currently envisage that the programme will run from October 2021 until the end of March 2022. Ireland has designed and built a Pavilion in Dubai and will be hosting an immersive, experiential Permanent Exhibition at that Pavilion. The Department also has a Programme of events that it planned to host physically in the Pavilion. Due to the global pandemic, the context in which we will host that programme has changed. At present we are developing a hybrid/virtual programme which we will roll-out during EXPO 2020. The Department of Foreign Affairs is conducting this market survey to ascertain the number of companies operating at present who can assist us in developing, producing and delivering circa 35 virtual events, to be hosted in Ireland but broadcast in our EXPO Pavilion in Dubai.
