KCC-CDP2023-2029- SFRA - Request for Tenders for Consultancy services to carry out a Strategic Flood Risk Assessment for the Kildare County Development Plan 2023-2029

The Contracting Authority is inviting tenders from suitably qualified and experienced consultants for consultancy services relating to the carrying out a Strategic Flood Risk Assessment (SFRA) for County Kildare as part of the review of the current County Development Plan 2017-2023 and the preparation of the new Kildare County Development Plan 2023-2029. Please note for the interest of clarity this contract is for the preparation of a SFRA. A separate contract has been procured for the preparation of Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) and Appropriate Assessment (AA) of the County Development Plan. The appointed consultant will be required to work in conjunction with the contracting authority project team to ensure that flood risk considerations are integrated into the new County Development Plan and associated Strategic Environmental Assessment and Appropriate Assessment, throughout the associated consultation and decision-making process.
