MH-COMM-20-04 - Consultancy Services for Ashbourne Skate Park

The Ashbourne Linear Park consists of 7 zones for development. To date zone 4 has been developed which consists of a playground, amphitheatre, looped walk and a pedestrian bridge. It is now proposed to develop zone 3 of the Linear Park with the construction of a skatepark. Indicative drawing showing the layout of Zone 3 as part of the linear park is attached, please note the proposal is now to incorporate a skatepark and parking in to this layout. This tender is seeking to appoint consultants to prepare a part VIII planning application for a proposed skatepark in Ashbourne. The designated site is located in a flood zone however some element of parking must be provided. Meath County Council are seeking consultants to prepare a site plan to incorporate parking, skatepark and pedestrian access to the site separate to the carpark. The site will also include pathways through the site.
