ENQEIR727 - Procurement Consultancy and Support Services

EirGrid Group requires the provision of procurement services/resources to support the procurement team in meeting key departmental objectives and assist with tender requirements. The EirGrid Procurement team currently consists of the procurement manager, two senior buyers, three buyers and two trainee buyers/administrators. EirGrid is considered a Utility and carries out procurement in accordance with National Guidelines and the EU Utilities Directive. The required services will comprise of advice on and assistance with the management of National and EU competitions and may also include input and advice on the procurement function reorganisation to ensure it is meeting the business needs. There is also the potential requirement for the provision of resources as part of a managed service. The majority of requirements will be sourced through the negotiated procedure with the objective of awarding contracts and/or establishing single or multi supplier framework agreements. This Tender is broken down in two separate Lots. Tenderers are invited to submit a tender for one or more of the applicable Lots in accordance with this RFP: • Lot 1 Procurement Managed Service • Lot 2 General Procurement Consultancy The successful Tenderer(s) shall be required to have suitably qualified and experienced personnel to carry out the required tasks. EirGrid intends to establish a multi supplier framework for Lot 1. EirGrid intends to establish a single supplier framework for Lot 2. The framework agreements will be for an initial duration of two years with the option to extend annually for up to two additional years, subject always to the satisfactory performance of the suppliers.
