MW HIRE O'Moore Park LED Upgrade - LED lighting upgrade of pitch lighting, streetlighting surrounding pitch, and internal lighting.

The contractor shall design, supply, install and commission a new pitch lighting system at MW HIRE O'Moore Park, Portlaoise. Existing masts to be retained. Existing switching arrangement to be retained. Contractor to undertake Diesel Generator works to ensure it continues operating as currently. At full output, new LED lighting system to achieve an average horizontal illuminance of 1100 lux at a working height of 1.0 metres above playing pitch, with a uniformity of 0.75 or greater. Lighting shall be staged, whereby selected luminaires will switched off, to achieve lower lux levels. Stage three corresponds to 1100 lux, stage two corresponds to 800 lux, stage one corresponds to 500 lux. Contractor to upgrade mast cabinets, if it is determined that they are too small to house new LED drivers. Contractor to upgrade frames, as required to allow new LED fittings to be secured. Contractor is responsible for decommissioning and safely disposing of existing fittings. Contractor responsible for hiring in of craneage / height access, O&M manuals, and necessary modifications to distribution boards and control panels for the full operation of the new lighting system. Contractor is to also replace existing street lighting surrounding pitch. 34 No. fittings are to be installed onto existing fittings. Contractor is also responsible for installing new internal light fittings in rooms underneath west stand.
