The scope of refurbishment works proposed generally comprises: - - Demolitions and alterations to existing building. - Construction of 3 no. new extensions to existing building. - Replacement of existing flat roof section. - New external joinery throughout. - Installation of new ceiling finishes throughout. - Redecoration to areas disturbed by the roof replacement works. - Electrical and mechanical upgrade works. - Removal of existing stage and disposal off site. - Installation of a new insulated concrete floor slab throughout existing building. - Installation of a new timber stage. - External surface water drainage works. The main contractor will be required to comply with the code of practice for inspecting and certifying buildings and works as defined in SI No.9 of 2014 Building Control (Amendment) Regulations 2014.
