2020 - Summer Works - Repair of Flat Roof at Meelin NS, Meelin, Co Cork

Removal of existing flat roof covering. Removal of internal ceiling slabs. Repair of existing rotten flat roof rafters (assumed 20%). Treating of all rafters with chemical preservative (Protim Green E or Similar) Installation of 100mm PIR Insulation Board between rafters. Installation of Foil Backed Slab and Vapour Control Layer below rafters. Laying of new Firring Boards where necessary Laying of 18mm OSB-3 Deck Weather proofing with Fibre-Glass Membrane Cross Ventilation of rafters with ventilation strip at eaves and ventilation detail at wall abutment. Inspection & Repair of all flashings New PVC Soffit, Facia & Gutter.
