7496 - Ecological Service Railway and Asset Management

The Infrastructure Department of Iarnród Éireann (IE) requires the services of an ecological/environmental consultancy to support the maintenance of railway assets and railway capital investment projects. It is envisaged that these services will be carried out in a planned manner where work packages are identified in advance of each call off. Typical requirements are 1. Baseline terrestrial ecological survey and report 2. Baseline ecological survey and AA Screening Report 3. Baseline ecological survey, AA Stage 2 and NIS Report. 4. Ornithological survey, production of report, preparation of derogation licence. 5. Bat Survey, production of findings report, preparation of derogation licence 6. Badger Survey, production of findings report, preparation of derogation licence 7. Post Works ecological survey and report 8. In stream aquatic survey, Biotic index (aquatic invertebrates) and report 9. In stream Trans location exercise
