Derg AC, Clarisford Ltd, and Ballina Killaloe RFC, are in the process of developing a natural turf training area surrounded by a 4 lane 200m athletics track, throws area, long jump area, a 120m sprinting area including flood lighting. Following the identification of 2 areas within the track boundaries that are not being utilised, Derg AC are proposing to use these areas for outdoor fitness equipment & as a location for the club’s existing high jump. The development will proceed on a phased basis Phase 1: Long Jump & throws area (complete) Phase 2: Drainage & Groundworks & Fencing (starting May 2020) Phase 3: Tartan track surface & pitch surface & Lighting base (starting May 2020) Phase 4: Flood lighting & Solar Lights (starting Sept 2020) Phase 5: Lot 1. Supply & Installation Custom Designed Wheelchair Accessible Outdoor Fitness Equipment This is Etender is for Phase 5 Derg AC propose to install a number of disability enabled fitness equipment to ensure that people with disabilities can best participate in all aspects of Clarisford Park activities. In this project the custom design of fitness equipment will enable wheelchair users use the equipment as part of their fitness training plan. This outdoor workout park will consists of pull-up bars, workout benches and many other elements. All workout equipment is available to all and can also be used by people in wheelchairs
