The Contracting Entity intends to procure a managed service provider for the provision of a (SaaS based) EV Infrastructure Operations & Revenue Management System (EVIORMS) to support the continued delivery and future expansion and evolution of its services in the electric vehicle charging infrastructure space. We will require implementation and support services for the duration of the contract. ESB, through its ESB ecars business line, currently operates a network of over 1,000 charging stations, serving up to 25,000 customers, installed across the island of Ireland and has a growing presence in Great Britain. The network provides medium speed AC and rapid DC/AC charging using a wide mix of charging station hardware from a range of manufacturers, and supports Type-2, CHAdeMo, and CCS charging connector standards. All charging stations are managed using the common industry standard OCPP protocol for event reporting, remote control, charging authorisation and charging transaction data reporting, and communicate securely, primarily using ESB ecars private mobile data VPNs.
