Donegal County Council is exploring the use of smart technology in monitoring environmental conditions to improve quality of life, reduce operational costs and enhance safety for its population. The purpose of this project is to test and trial Internet of Things (IoT) sensors in County Donegal, with the aspiration to deploy a network of successfully trialed sensors that can be rolled out across the county over future years.
