In summary, the Goods comprise of the Supply of up to eight (8) acoustic recorders for use in the SEAMONITOR project. SeaMonitor is a novel and comprehensive project, the first of its kind in Europe, which will establish a number of large scale marine telemetry arrays to track mobile marine fauna in the seas around Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland and the west of Scotland. Acoustic monitoring devices will be used to record marine mammal vocalisations, fish and underwater ambient noise over the duration of the project between Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland and the west of Scotland. The recorders should be compact and light-weight for simple deployment, and flexible duty-cycling for long and shorter-term deployments.
