AEE033C - DAFM - Supply of BCG Vaccine for Wildlife Vaccination

This competition is for the Supply of BCG Vaccine and Diluent. The Vaccine will be used to vaccinate badgers as part of the Department of Agriculture, Food & the Marine’ (DAFM) Irish bovine tuberculosis (TB) eradication programme. This programme seeks to eradicate infection with Mycobacterium bovis (Bovine TB) from the Irish cattle population. A wildlife strategy forms a necessary part of the Bovine TB eradication program, including the vaccination of badgers. The vaccine used for this purpose is the BCG vaccine used in humans for inoculation against the human form of TB.
