RFT 2019/53 - Catering Concession for Coláiste Íde agus Iósaef, Abbeyfeale, Co. Limerick

Coláiste Ide agus Iosef are seeking tenders for the preparation and supply of School Meals. Companies will be required to outline their proposed methodology on the operation of the service on a typical school day based on the following arrangements for the supply of food: 1. A Canteen opened at break-time 2. A Canteen opened at lunchtime selling rolls and hot food It is intended to award a contract to a single service provider for Items 1 to 2 above, providing all catering to the students and staff. The management is now seeking proposals from interested companies. The proposed commencement date of this contract is the 28th of August 2019. Requirements for the Service: The successful company will • Refurbish the existing canteen & kitchenette in time for commencement of the next school year on 28th of August 2019. • Be fully responsible for the staffing, management and operation of the food service. • Be responsible for the supply, operation and maintenance of all equipment. • Be responsible for the clean-up of all cooking and dining area each day. • Be responsible for the safe removal of all waste and recyclable material from the campus on a routine basis. • Ensure that the operation is fully compliant with all Health and Safety regulations. • Operate in accordance with a Healthy Eating Policy to be developed and implemented with the Board of the School. • Pay for all electricity costs associated with provision of the service. • Make a financial contribution to the school. • The catering cannot infringe on the orderly running of the school. • All refurbishment work must be completed and the kitchen/canteen area fully operational for the commencement of the next school year on 28th August 2019.
