1920 St Aidans NS - St Aidans National School Shannon Boiler Upgrade Emergency Works Contract

The scope of the works for the Boiler Upgrade includes the following: (i) De-commissioning, Isolation, drain down, removal and disposal of the redundant boiler and associated services to a licenced waste facility (ii) Conversion to natural gas as the fuel source (iii) Supply and installation of a new gas fired cascade boilers system and flue system (iv) Replacement of boiler house pipe work, valves, actuators and pumps etc (v) Drain down and flush out existing pipework distribution system and refill with corrosion inhibitor (vi) Supply of a new packaged pressurisation unit and expansion vessel (vii) Supply and install a new Control Panel, 4 channel time clock and associated heating controls. (viii) All associated electrical works including isolations disconnections and new power and controls cabling and galvanised steel containment systems (ix) All associated builders works including removal of boiler plinth and painting the boiler room and supply and installation of a new boiler room door (x) Testing & commissioning of the upgraded boiler and heating services. (xi) Maintenance during the 12 months defects period. (xii) Service & Maintenance of boilers at end of defects period.
