Proposed works consisting of the alteration and refurbishment of the existing first floor toilets, combining 2no existing adjacent rooms containing ladies and gents wc conveniences into 1no combined room (dimension 5.0m x 3.1m approx) containing unisex wc facilities. Preparatory works shall consist of the complete removal of all existing sanitary fittings, internal floor and wall finishes and removal of the existing suspended ceiling, retaining existing mechanical air supply and extraction ducting, fire safety sprinkler system and fire detection equipment associated. The proposed works shall consist of the installation of a revised internal layout, containing 5no new wc's with associated cubicle partitioning system, 4no new wash basins and taps incorporated into a single vanity unit, and the installation of new drainage connections from all new sanitary appliances to the existing vertical foul drainage stacks, accessed from ground floor level below. Installation of a new suspended ceiling and lighting installation, and re-connection of existing mechanical supply/extraction duct outlets, room sprinkler and fire safety detection equipment into the new ceiling. At ground floor level, removal and replacement of the existing 4no public foyer entrance doors, with new aluminium-framed double glazed external doors, including Part-M automated sensor access associated.
