LEE639C - LEE639C Request for Tenders for the Supply of a Flow Cytometer for Trinity College Dublin TCD

Tenders are sought for a Flow Cytometer to enable SFI funded cancer epigenetics research at the Smurfit Institute of Genetics at Trinity College Dublin. The flow cytometry requirements are limited to the identification of fluorescently labelled cell populations in experimental cell samples. In this context, the requirement is defined as the identification of two individually labelled cell populations in a single sample (i.e. Green AND Red labelling). In the vast majority of cases our needs do not exceed the identification of a single labelled population in a single sample (i.e. Green OR Red). Therefore the technical requirements do not necessitate multiple laser/filter combinations that facilitate analysis of more complex samples. The criteria address a low maintenance, robust flow cytometer that produces minimal waste in line with the Provost’s sustainability initiatives.
