LEE606C - LEE606C UCC RFT for the Supply, Delivery and Installation of a Raman Spectroscopy System for UCC

Tenders are sought for the supply, delivery and installation of a Raman Spectroscopy System for the Biophotonics Research Group at the Tyndall National Institute, University College Cork (UCC). The Biophotonics Research group is seeking to purchase the Raman spectroscopy system to research and analyse diseases in tissues. The main components of Raman systems are lasers for excitation, spectrographs for dispersing inelastically scattered radiation, and charged coupled device (CCD). The system should be able to connect with an optical fibre and connect to a computer with a USB connector. They need to have high sensitivity, compact and convenient to use, as they need to be transportable and will be employed in various settings, including in hospitals or biology labs.
