LEE582C - LEE582C NUI Galway RFT for the Suppply of 1 (one) Energy-Dispersive X-Ray Spectrometer (EDX/EDS) and 1 (one) Micro-Test Stage

Tenders are invited under Open National Procedure for the Supply of an Energy-Dispersive X-Ray Spectrometer (EDX/EDS) and a Micro-Test Stage for NUI Galway. Ex-demo/Fully Refurbished equipment will be considered. Tenderers proposing ex-demo/refurbished equipment must provide a full service/maintenance history. This system is to be purchased as part of the SFI Opportunistic Research Infrastructure Call 2017, with the total awarded amounting to €101,000 (exclusive of V.A.T). The budget for Lot 1 is €57,000 and Lot 2 is €44,000 approximately. The EDS and test stage systems will support the research needs and objectives of existing SFI research at NUI Galway within Mechanical Engineering, I-Form, the Centre for Microscopy & Imaging (CMI), and related disciplines, colleges and research centres.
