FCC/495/18 - Howth Looped Paths Repair Project

Fingal County Council intends to appoint a Contractor to undertake proposed repair and improvement works along the Howth Looped Path Network. The sections of the Howth Looped Path Network included in this project extend over 7.7km through the Howth Head SAC and Howth Head SPA. The required repair works include: - localised repairs of, and creation of new, self-binding aggregate path - replacement of existing stone steps, and construction of new stone steps - new drainage details - new boardwalk sections Access along the site is limited, with further restrictions on allowable construction methodologies in place due to the ecological constraints.
