CIE 7186 - Establishment of Framework Agreement for Provision of Coach- Hire Services to CIE Tours (Ireland and UK)

This is a call to competition by CIE for the procurement of guided coach hire services for CIE Tours in Ireland and the UK. CIE Tours carries approximately 40,000 scheduled tour passengers per annum. Tours range in duration from 5 to 23 days and cover Ireland, Northern Ireland and Great Britain. In order to meet its requirements for provision of these tour services it is proposed to establish a multi-supplier, multi-lot, framework agreement with licenced and suitably-qualified road passenger transport operators from which specific services will be drawn down by CIE Tours in due course as they arise. The services required include the following; Lot 1 – Scheduled Tours Programme (Ireland) - This includes the provision of Scheduled Tours in Ireland. Some of these programmes require the services of a badged driver/guide. Lot 2 – Ad Hoc Group (Ireland & United Kingdom) - This include the provision of Ad Hoc Group Tours in Ireland and United Kingdom. These programmes require the services of a badged driver/guide. Lot 3 – Scheduled Tours Programme (United Kingdom) - This includes the provision of scheduled tours in the United Kingdom and combination tours in the United Kingdom and Ireland. CIE Tours will provide the guides in Great Britain. Some of the programmes may require the services of a driver/guide when continuing to Ireland. Operators may apply for one, two, or all three Lots.
