CLAR2018 - Tender for 9 seater wheelchair accessible vehicle

A 9 seater wheelchair accessible vehicle is required. The vehicle needs to be easily adapted to accommodate a wheelchair and wheelchair user who utilises the following space: Height (floor to top of head) 52 inches (to just a tiny bit past top of head), Length / Depth 50 inches to accommodate feet / knees and Width 26 inches. The seats must be easily removed / folded to accommodate the wheelchair. An internal lift is required for the vehicle. Please note these measurements are slightly more than a standard wheelchair so it is vital that the quote can definitely accommodate this chair and person. The vehicle should include air-conditioning. The vehicle needs to have a side step, 4 point wheelchair restraint and 3 point occupant seatbelt. The vehicle will be used as a regular 9 seater morning and evening and utilised as a wheelchair vehicle during the day, so it is vital that seats can be moved easily with minimal lifting and handling.
