Pavement investigation contract for Tipperary

Evaluation of structural adequacy or inadequacy of road pavements for current and projected future traffic levels. The scope of the works involves: (i) FWD Testing as described in Section 5.1. (ii) Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) as described in Section 5.2. (iii) Coring and Dynamic Cone Penetration Testing (DCP) as described in Section 5.3. (iv) Prepare a FWD Level 1 Analysis as detailed in Section 6.1. (v) Prepare a Level 2 Analysis as detailed in Section 6.2. to be used by Tipperary County Council to facilitate pavement overlay/inlay designs including pavement strengthening where required on each of the sites.
