SCC2018/038 - Devins Drive /Cranmore Road Junction Upgrade

Upgrade of the ‘T’ Junction at intersection of Devins Drive with Cranmore Road. The proposals include but are not limited to the following: • Realignment of existing junction • New footpaths and kerbs • Introduction of traffic calming measure at Junction and Devins Drive • Re surfacing of junction and approach road on Devins Drive • Revised carriageway width • Introduction of mandatory cycle lanes and traffic calming • Introduction of designated shared surface pedestrian crossing point • Removal and setting back of fence and boundary wall to the Men’s Shed to the east of the junction on Cranmore Road to improve sightline from junction to the East • Civil works including drainage, ducting and public lighting • New road markings
